^ You're using it to test CIS Jetronic? Yes, you will need the more expensive kit.
It worked well enough for me. Funny thing is I thought the hoses and connections were the good part of the kit, the gauge itself was the weak point. But as I say, a multimeter and wideband O2 sensor with a test pipe, and you have all you will ever need to fix anything on your motor.
