Hopefully the ‘independent specialist’ did not over torque or cross thread.
I had this happen during a recent plug change on a friend’s 993 (exhaust bank). Unthreading it was difficult enough that I purchased a proper M14x1.25 spark plug thread chaser to clean the threads. The new plug went in smoothly after that.
It would be nice if you could pull the intake plug and somehow get penetrating oil to the stuck plug’s threads...
