I'm almost certain that something was introduced to the oil that made it turn to goo. I've seen the insides of more engines than most have seen the outside of. In my 60 years seen the results of neglect, abuse and contamination. I have never seen anything close to that. Even back in the day when paraffin wax was routinely added to engine oil to maintain viscosity.

That looks like the stuff that came out of Stretch Armstrong.

Other part is you know the low oil pressure light had started flickering and then stayed on, she continued driving it.
