OK so I go on the gov website yesterday and it's overwhelmed so I try again this morning . I put in my basic info and I get a message that I am due the payment . Great . So then we go deeper into the weeds and they want more details and I provide those details . Hit enter and an error message stating info doesn't match their records
. It suggests if you are using recent tax info ( I was ) to use 2018 so I did . Received the same error message then they timed me out
and stated try again in 24 hours .
Our bank info has not changed and my wife collects SS so they have at least her info she's going to try the website today and see what it say's for her . Fun times we're going to be put through the wringer just to turn around and hand it back to the feds
