Apparently, the deal is that if you paid someone to do your taxes, and allowed them to deduct their payment from your refund instead of just writing them a check when they did it, then the money was actually sent from the IRS to the folks that did your return, and then the middle man sent the rest of the money to you after they deducted their fee.
I been using turbotax for years, but the e-file is always free, and the money comes directly to us. We've already gotten our money.
