I bet the places that have the buffets or smorgasbord type places will be slow to recover. From what I hear our governor will let restaurants re-open next month, but with 1/2 the tables and they will be 6 feet apart. No doubt when the restaurants re-open they will be really busy.

We used to go to a place that had great catfish for a lunch menu. They had been in business for decades and was on several of the TV shows like Man vs Food and others. Great catfish and good service. The couple that owned it were told by the landlord he was not going to renew the lease. They were an older couple so they decided to sell the business, and retire and they moved to Europe and retire.

The new owner opened in a different location and at first had a booming business. He had the same recipes. His real issue was cleaning the place. The floors were slick with grease, and not real clean. The crowds kept getting smaller. If he spent the time to clean the place up and go back to the exact same way it was done before it would likely be OK. It went out of business.
