If that doesn't work then it's defcon5 time.
Just hear some more thumping from the upstairs bathroom ceiling. The shower has double fans and a chipmunk found its way inside again. The last time involved screeching and clawing. I turned on the fan to make him feel uncomfortable and banged on the farthest wall. There is no way to get to the outside. Wish they made those rotating louvers with an exterior mesh guard. I will have to take off the interior cover and try screen the inside somehow.
(This reminds me to get mesh screens for all the WH and furnace protrusions as well...)
When the roof was redone, the top half of the ceiling insulation was pure rodent's nest (and pellets) because the fascia board had gaps.

Some guys swear by Bazooka Joe, others Juicy Fruit gum... They say the groundhog will eat it and die. My dad swears the Juicy Fruit works. Me, I find a 22/250 round from 200 yards or closer works well.
