Invisible progress con't

Since I had to buy a can of gas for that last stuff I decided to fill the tank, check the fuel gauge, look for leaks, and loop the supply line to the MFI pump back the return and run the fuel pump, look for leaks, and prime the system. All good!!!

Last but not least, trying to get tasks done that will be easiest with the car up in the air, I filled the brake system and bled them. This revealed a bit of an issue:

Initially a bit frustrating, especially at this point. I want to be doing fun things like putting the motor in the car, not going back and undoing all my wire lacing so I can re-configure the brake switch wiring, not to mention effing around building a bracket for this puppy:

It was a stupid mistake, and also a lesson - test everything!!! The brake switch os one of the few things I couldn't test. I checked the circuit by shorting it out, (lights lit), but without fluid I just figured the switch wasn't working yet and all would be fine. Re-doing the wiring would have been a lot faster and easier prior to the fuel tank, filler, etc being installed. I like to stand in the opening the fuel tank sits in and work on wiring, it's much, much more fun.

I forgot to note a few things in my last post - I've been saving a can of this stuff to clean out the MFI lines one more time (flushed with this, then compressed air):

Also I broke out the MFI tools, the flat blade screwdriver needed to be narrowed just a touch, and also I had to enlarge the access hole in the fiberglass shroud a bit (you actually insert the tools though the fan/housing to tweak the pump idle mixture and part load screws.

More later!
