We mounted them on the master cylinder, but I don't see why you couldn't use it on a caliper or in this application.
Thanks!! I did think of that, but no way to neatly incorporate it in the plumbing - ultimately I think the mechanical switch will be the best solution.

Funny thing though, I have a spare banjo pressure switch (just in case) from when I added the street equipment to the 2-smoke Kawi!:
