Interesting article on Measles. Mortality is 1 in 1000. If the Santa Clara data is correct, then SARS-CoV-2 may be in the same universe. The obvious difference is SARS-CoV-2 is new and there is no adult immunity over the generations.

I was born before most of the childhood vaccines were available. I had Measles, Mumps (both sides!) and German Measles, before I was three. Parents used to have "chicken-pox" parties, to purposely infect their kids. So most had it by the time they were 3. And that was the one I missed. At 48, I had to be given the "shingles" vaccine.
