Our home has white vinyl siding and it is dirty looking with some mildew in areas . I have a gas powered pressure washer but would prefer not to use it . My fear is the siding installed in 1996 may be brittle and easy to puncture/break with the pressure washer but I know I can control this by distance from wand to siding . Anyway my main question is what chemicals are you guys using ? I'd like to find something decent available at Home Depot as we are a small rural town and HD and a few lumber yards is it for purchasing in person .

In a perfect world the magic juice could be applied with a hand pump up garden sprayer , set for 15 minutes and then rinse . On the back side of the house is the elevated deck that I recently ( past 4 months ) have installed new pressure treated deck boards . So whatever cleaner I use I don't want to damage the boards as I am soon going to be applying stain to the boards . So bottom line for those that DIY clean your siding what are you using and what are your methods .
