Now that the initial exuberance has wore off came back down to the shop to weigh the car and took my wife on a circle around the neighborhood.
Weights before -
Weight with 195 lbs in driver seat 2892, FL- 632 (21.9%) RL -862 (29.8%), FR - 526 (18.2%), RR - 871 (30.1%) Front/rear 40.1%/59.9% Left/right 51.7%/48.3%
Cross RL/FR - 52% RR/FL - 48%
Weights now - Fiberglass rear bumper not installed, and a little less gas. Same weight in driver seat. Probably 50 lbs of gas and bumper would be an apples to apples.
Total - 2648
Front 40.1% Rear 59.9%
Left 51.4% Right 48.6%
Cross RL to FR 50.1% RR to FL 49.9%
Roughly 200lbs less. Bumpers, deleted rear seats, RS style door cards, lighter carpet (I think) and probably 30-50 pounds less of dirt and crud! lol
Definitely have lots of work to go.
Speedo, Tach and clock dont work. (Luckily oil pressure and temp and fuel gauge working)
Need to get rear bumper on. (Im enjoying the engine access for now with bumper off)
Think the car needs a tune to some degree. Not sure how to proceed on that.
Brakes are not good. Need to rebleed them.
Need to charge AC system
Very limited run time. I am sure many more gremlins will pop up. Pleased with where it sits today though.
