Update: So this morning my wife checks on our checking account and $1200.00 has been deposited . OK that's great but it was supposed to be $2400.00  . So she goes into the IRS website and her status shows they are mailing her a check on 5/4 . Really weird why they are mailing her a check , she collects SS and has the money direct deposited into our account so they definitely have her info . Oh well it is what it is .
