How old were his headers when he took this photo. I would expect after a year or so with a lot of use that they would look like this. If the header pictured is almost new - then I would have a problem. MSDS says they have a 'special way' to apply the cermamic coating so that it will last. I guess i'll see huh.

he didn't have a digital camera, so i took the pictures for him and sent him the URL. the headers were bought in 1999, so they were 2 years old. the manufacturer said that they would last A LOT longer with that special coating though. he wanted the pics so he could complain that the headers looked so bad. there were leaks and holes in them which were not only hurting performance... but making the car sound bad.
