Feds have not done a good job centrally managing the distribution of PPE so not entirely reassured they will control the use of the only drug that so far is proven to have any efficacy.
That said, by end of year GILD expects to have produced enough to treat 1MM patients, so supply shortage in the US will be over.
I wonder if Feds will try to control GILD’s supply to other countries? Like, drug supply as political tool?
