Had to have the rear drive shaft balanced on my GMC Jimmy cause it kept eating U-joints. It was convenient that I could just put it in 4wd and keep goin. Well, after pulling off the drive shaft and plugging the transfer case hole. An aerosol paint can cap fit perfectly. It alway broke the rear u-joint so was able to pull it out of the transfer case and plug the hole.
Think it was as more the angle of lifting it and putting huge tires on rather than just balance. But, balanced the drive shaft anyway.
