The first weekend whan got 914.
Wed night. Shift mount broke off transmission.
Mondy. Dumont removed tranny case. Took it to work and a guy heliarc welded the aluminum mount back on the case. Dumont put back on.
Early Friday morn. left for Atlanta GA.
Got a ticket in Tenn. Was going speed limit. Got pulled over and radar detector did not go off until we were stopped. Was a turist ticket that would not go on my record, GRRR.
Order takers at Mcdonalds in Nashville spoke with a funny drawl.
Got pulled over on back road in Atlanta for going too slow (looking for brother's neighborhood).
Satuday. Drove to family reunion in Morristown Tenn. Uncle told me he hated anything German. He was a cook in the navy in WWII.
Spent night in small town motel. With rest of family members, all had rooms. Ran around with cousins.
Sunday. Drove home to OKC and had alt belt break. Could not find anyone in Clarksville, AR that would sell me a belt. Would only sell if their mechanic put it on next day.
Drove to next town ie Ft Smith and had escapade described above to finish weekend.
