Yeah, I didn't watch or research the whole thing to find out what the cost was, but I knew it wasn't going to be cheap. For that sort of money, I suspect you could get a used 911 turbo or GT3 of some year and ultimately be happier.
That thing is kind of like the ultimate resto-mod. I'd love a '67 Chevelle that had a modern suspension, brakes, steering and a modern fuel injected motor that got great gas mileage with a 6 speed tranny that allowed you to lope along the freeway at low RPM, but the car still looked like and had some of the character of a '67 Chevelle. This mini is like that but taken much, much farther. To make a mini mid-engined and rear drive with 500hp that still seems to handle well with AC, nice seats and power windows, I was pretty sure that there was very little mini left other than a few body panels.
