Take those two 10mm bolts each side on the rail from the back. When the seat is out you can see the adjuster’s small nipples that go on the rail to secure it from moving.
1) Grab a long screwdriver to pry the seat adjuster from inside the rail.
2) Move the rail up while you hold the screwdriver. Basically, your manually doing it with the screwdriver instead of the handle.
Tips: Use silicone lube and a dead blow hammer to remove the base from the seat. An extra hand always helps.
When you put the seat/base back on.
1) Test the rail and see if they go on the base smoothly before going on the car. You want to do this to avoid headaches trying to put it in the car.
2) Then, bolt the seat base on the floor first. Make sure the height adjuster is in the bracket and test if to see if it goes up and down vertically.
3) Slide the seat from the front and it should go in smoothly.
