I believe that the OT Forum is much more of an asset than a liability. Just take a look at the people represented here. Look at the diversity of people from all over the globe. Where else can I get an opinion from someone in the UK, NZ, Sweden, Canada all in the same thread. Look at the occupations of the people on this Board, from Business owners to Md"s... It all comes together because of a common interest in Porsches....but it doesn't end there...people have other interests besides Porsches as DD74 so aptly pointed out. There are only so many times you can talk about the tire size your Porsche takes...and this OT Board for those so inclined to, can talk about what ever interests them.

I generally feel enriched because of the diversity of points of view, hearing the opinion of people from other countries especially broadens my point of view as an American. I have argued these very points ceaselessly for years on that other Board.

I don't want to get sidetracked nor belabor the point, but isn't it ironic that the nay sayers about this Board are the same ones that correspond on that Other Board. Huh Jackie O and Ted AKA G Burner. I find their points of view to be especially narrow minded.

Further G Burner if this forum was cutting into my bootom line I would abolish the whole dam thing lock stock and barrel. The OT forum is a good device to keep the other forums focused on the pertinent subject. But my bet is that this Board is good for business for every customer Wayne loses I'll bet he gets 3. Increased traffic, increased visibility, get the people in the door and some of their money will rub off on you. Great Advertising. The OT Board just keeps some of the more intelligent (my opinion) ones here a little longer....and I do think there is a correlation between intelliegence...education and higher incomes????Hmmmm!
