Some here feel very Pro off topic board.
I in turn feel very pro Pelican.

A customer is offended by anything on the OT board and chooses to go somewhere else. Funny part is that the offended customer is not offended by Wayne's views, just the views of the people that post on OT.

Everyone OK with the fact that we should be allowed in your place of employment and openly discuss anything? Then should we be harsh to you when our actions drive a paying customer away?

say what??? the forum or OT board is not a place of employment. it is an electronic forum that absolutely no-one needs to wander, walk, travel, crawl through or anything else to do business with Pelican. this forum is in no way necessary for any customer to come in contact with Pelican or its employees. the analogy doesn't wash

I deleted the Bush TV thread for a variety of reasons. First of all, this is a business website, and I have no time or energy for people emailing me because they are upset at what someone said in an OT post. If problems continue, the OT forum will be disabled, period.

I can see Pelican's issue very well. I can see your opinions too.
Fact is this is not Islands, ronin's or Ted's OT board.
Whatever the person that is paying for this board determines is correct is the bottomline on this forum.
Is it common for Porsche mail order parts providers to host OT boards? I guess not, wonder why?
