I had two reoccurring dreams as a child. One was I was on a narrow ledge that ran along the inside of a stone castle. The castle was made of large blocks of stone, like 4’x4’. High enough that I never saw the floor. The room was lit by a few torches but pretty dark. Now The ledge went around the room at one level, just wide enough that my back was always pressed to the wall. Now it gets a bit weirder. Frankenstein was on the same ledge also with back pressed against wall shimming after me. I was probably 6-8 years old based on it being in the first house I lived in. Always wondered what that meant.

Children often feel powerless and trapped. The fact that it reoccurs shows there was no escape from whatever was troubling you. It could be due to bullying, domineering parents or older siblings. Frankenstein is a significant figure of good gone bad and is to be feared. Mr. Stein was your childhood representation of that individual. Or not.
