I had the same problem.

It’s the rubber washers that are under there.

Pull the cover off and unbolt the airbag cradle.

Take one of the old rubber grommets/washers to Home Depot with you and you can find new ones of the same size.

I think it cost me less than $1 to replace them. As I remember, there were 8 in total.
