The whole these are strange times is being overplayed. If a retailer is offering overnight shipping then it must abide by its word otherwise they can make a notation on their site that the option is not guaranteed or removed it in its entirety. Many online retailers have adapted very well including Amazon(they notified their Prime members early on about delayed Prime shipping). Don’t get me wrong I know we’re in uncharted territory but retailers can do their part to ensure that when something can’t be done or met, proper communication should take its place.
