Maybe an info from Dansk would tell the real truth. If I was the lucky one with last orig. sets or ... if Dansk just bought a competitor company "away from the market" and resell other manufacturers hardware or whatever own made stuff.
EDIT: I see that SSI was sold to Dasnk at end of 2012? Well your Info was posted at beginning of 2013.

I bought my set in Dec. 2017, .... so a thought: could it really be that the remaining inventory taken over from SSI was really that huge that still customers where able to get a set of these still remaining in stock 3 Years later?
So, if such a small amount of SSIs will be sold on the worlds market "per year", so dec 2017 they still where stock .... then this business would make it for Dansk at least not that profitable ;-)
