It does not suck. Not at all. The chrome is pretty beat up and the lens has seen better days. But a real Talbot isn't something to be scoffed at over some 'personality'. I think it looks pretty badass and I can reasonably see out of it, even with the flat lens.
What does everyone think of this new development?

Looks pretty good to me. I agree flat mirrors are hard to see out of. On my 76 the stock side mirror is not only small and flat, it also vibrates everything behind into a blur.
