Well the bmw is out of the contention right now. I didn't even get to go ride as talking to the guy more I got a bad vibe. The panniers are toast. Find out there really aren't any maintenance records and he hadn't even rode it for a full season and he's selling it, I mean i think he's honest(ish) but I'm not fine with buying a 16 year old bike with 43K miles without any maintenance records. but that's me...
But on another front, I might have a lead on a VFR, 2001, thing is it's someone who apparently was deployed in the military a lot. It has
3K miles on it. That actually is really bad, or really good. I dunno if I can pull that one off because it's 800 miles away. Not because that that in and of itself is insurmountable, just this is a really bad time of year for me to be away from the house as my wife's work is exploding as is mine. But just how often do you find a 5th gen VFR with that few miles on it? Though that argument doesn't hold as much weight with my wife
