Turned out I had a pair of the recalled model.
I've used them a few times.
Took them in to HF yesterday and walked out with new red 6 ton model, no questions asked.
I always use two separate devices to hold up a vehicle, maybe I'll consider going for three in the future.
I'm not surprised if the tooling initially was okay but has worn to the point of being out of spec. There is probably no spec. anyway. There is a drawing somewhere, but is there a spec. on the tooth profile with a plus and minus? Very likely not.
