Phew, I was rousted out of bed early this morning to do some chores around the house.

We got the house cleaned. On the OUTSIDE! Really. The soffits are all hosed down and the mud daubers nest scrubbed with a brush to get rid of any trace. The brick facade is hosed off to remove a layer of dust. The back porch is cleand off from the leaves that blow into the corners, and the concrete is hosed down. The grill is cleaned up, and the garage doors cleaned off.

Then I was pointed to the doggie door on the the outside door to the laundry room. The old plastic flap had sagged a bit over the years and did not seal like it was supposed to. It had also yellowed a lot and eleventy thousand zillion face plants from the dogs had scratched it up to me much more opaque that new. So that is all pretty and fitted right.

Tomorrow we "get" to clean out the garage. It is a total leaf magnet and there is some crap that accumulated in there that needs to get put on the storage shelf, or in the storage building.
