Great news Jonny!
Most MFI cars with hot cams will respond favourably to a little more advance around the RPM that they come on cam. Then back off to standard levels at high RPM. Something you can’t do with a mechanical advance but can with a programmable unit like CDI+. Get the motor run in first though.
