I owned a an 03 996tt for a total of 10 months after growing tired of the nannies. coming from an air cooled spec 911 it was unbearable. it was fast and took very little skill to drive with all the safety features. if you are going to track one you need to make sure the coolant lines have been pinned or welded. as I understand it from when I had my car many track groups were requiring that it be done to participate in a TT or the GT3 variants.
