We just cancelled Direct TV last week and replaced it with YouTubeTV, Netflix and Amazon Prime. Well, we had Prime already and have not used it much at all. We are saving at least $50/month.
I was surprised when I called to cancel, all DirectTV asked was "Why" and I said "Too expensive". No attempt to try to keep me after 20+ years. I guess AT&T has shown their business model of raise pricing by 50% and let customers go without concern. I hope that works for them.
The only issue we have had is Xfinity bandwidth. We are "supposed" to have 70Mbps. Sometimes we have 80. Sometimes we have 25 and saw 10 two days ago. When you have two streaming devices and a Zoom meeting going, that is simply not enough to keep things flowing.
