You wouldn’t pay more for them, and neither would I. But if I owned and was restoring an 88 930? A 100% original car is different than what most of us drive. That was the point of my comment.
Not only would I be perfectly happy with a Speedster rep, I’d put a Polo or a Subaru engine in it. Nobody would do that with a Speedster. Hell, some 356 owners were up in arms when knock off replicas became available. Others flocked to them just like 911 guys and rep wheels.
BTW, Fuchs is making these old wheels again. For someone who cares about the brand, you can buy “original” wheels if that’s your thing.
