Certainly and my heart goes out to the Vietnamese people.
The average Vietnamese doesn't have a pot to piss in but their leaders/politicians have always been corrupt.
But that's not saying much. Most of Asia's political class has always been corrupt in some way.
(Long back story) 30 odd years ago I was invited to a regional Police Commissioners house in Southern Thailand.
The house turned out to be a small palace with a tennis court, swimming pool and full staff.
