Here's what I use:
If I want a high pressure cleaning spray and don't need to use the power washer, then I will use this brass spray nozzle. It's well made, and has survived hundreds of hours of super high pressure.

I connect it to a hose on a reel, and the hose is connected to a Honda water pump, which is connected to one of the hose bibs:
If I don't need a cleaning spray and want a wider spray pattern, say for example, to water plants or to wash the outside of the building, then I use this from Griots Garage:
It's probably almost 20 years old now, and it's still superb. It works best with a squeeze shutoff trigger from Dramm:
