I drove my 74 914 2.0 for over 20 years as my only car. I guess I got a lifetime of open driving. I never drive with my windows open, I have had enough wind noise to last a lifetime. If the engine is running, either the AC or the heater is running. I bet my sunroof has only be open a dozen times in the 25 years I have had my 911.
So for me, no the convertible has zero appeal now or in the near future.
And drive ins were great as a place to go make out and not have to worry about security when I was a kid. My wife still won't let me date other ladies, and frankly I have no interest in dating. We have a comfortable bedroom for that. And my DVR is way better for watching a movie. I can pause it and go pee whenever the urge hits.
