Installed a JWest shift rod coupler on my '88 today. Took about 3 hours - not a bad job. Really makes shifting much crisper and more precise with a greatly improved feel. And no rattles or buzzing in the shifter in any gear, at any rpm. I recommend it for all '87 - '89 911's.
