Resisted for a long time. Finally bought a pair for Boundary Waters trips for knocking around camp and canoe fishing on layover days. Lot better protection than mocs for bottoms of feet and stubbed toes.

Now at my place up north for fishing when temps permit. Handy for wading and great for getting my boat on and off the trailer at most area landings where gravel or hooks can be hard on bare feet. Like the spotty tan pattern they create.
