Thorogood 6" moc toe 80% of the time. I rotate 2 pair. The other 20% in Top Siders or sneakers when I go out and don't feel like wearing boots. Best sneakers (what we still call tennis shoes here in CA) are Puma or Over Under. They weigh mere ounces.
Someone on the Garage Journal recommended Caterpillar low rise work shoes. Worst shoes I have ever owned but they are tough. Now that they are broken in (broken down) they aren't too bad. Why did I keep wearing them? Don't really know except they weren't cheap.
