My wife ( then gf ) and I , got robbed and beaten by 2 big black dudes at 4 am in her first floor apartment . They smashed through a window, punched me in my face before I was awake, then maced both of us. We both took a pretty good beating . I was a tough little white boy back then, and took it pretty well, but I was definitely out manned , maced, and beaten silly before I even got to wake up . The big dude was like a linebacker, and I was probably 165 pounds back then
I managed to fight my way out, and get the police , but it was close . Butt nekkid to boot . There was a minute , when I was curled up in the fetal position on the floor, getting kicked in the ribs by both of them where I remember thinking, " O.K. Fred, if you don't get out of here, you are going to die " I watched that big guy knock her out cold with one blow . Still haunts my memories sometimes .
For years, I had planned on how I was going to kill the big guy when he got out of Prison. I had 7 years to plan it . I stalked the guy for a bit, but I was doing pretty good in life by that time, and decided not to fk up my life with a murder charge . I gotta be honest though, I still dream of it sometimes . I knew where he lived as of about 5 years ago . I'm sure I could still find him . I think if I found out I was going to die from cancer , or illness, I would pay him a visit before I checked out .
The police told me that night, that they were sure the bigger guy was involved in a murder/ robbery at a dunkin donuts, but they could not make the charges stick .
Watching some of the videos of the recent violence kind of rushed back in some bad memories from that night
Needless to say, I have zero sympathy for any violent thugs , and no one will ever get that chance with me again . Sucked that it happened at her apartment. I would have had much better odds at my own place .
