It's therapeutic.
I tore it apart, I rebuilt it. Now, I drive it like it owes me money!
I had a daily 11second 69 Beetle, it was much quicker and much more thrilling to navigate. It was built to handle as well as cruise, miss it every day.
The 911 is different, more refined, not more hi-tech. More controllable above 120 where aero left the Beetle.....adrenaline and guardian angels were hard at work when 140 was unleashed in the Bug.
So for me, it's good therapy. It reminds me of all the VDubs I've built. It pleases me to just cruise as well as wring it out and wish for a 6th gear to feed the need.
A car that does it all, sitting still all the way to full tilt. Feels good all around.
