I'm sure they will both clean up nicely. Depending on the care lavished before they were stored, they may even shoot acceptably. Neither is a "target" arm, or course, but both earned respect as very capable battle rifles. If the bores were suitably coated with some form of oil or preservative, they might be great good fun to take out and do a bit of shooting. Unless there is really obvious damage or structural corrosion, both should be safe enough with proper ammunition. I believe both calibers are still at least somewhat available, even if it takes a bit of looking to find them. They could both bring new meaning to those "Free Ballard!" bumper stickers...
