Way back....ya didn't eat 'em in months without an R in them... now they farm them and it's year round. Years ago my buddy who lived outside Richmond called me one Sat. morning... let's go to the Oyster Festval! Some small place near the lower Chesapeake in VA. So I change the oil in my 911 and drive up to his place... we'd hit it on Sunday... yay! Sun. morning as we're getting closer we keep meeting lots of RV's, etc. ...when we got there... acres of empty fields (parking lots), full trash cans, and trash crews... after a typical 3 day festval. We missed it by one day....no oysters fer us
