Found another thing to like about Porsches
No nasty antennas with nasty holes in the fenders or holes in the roof. Crooked piece of junk sticking out from front or back fender. Good going Porsche!
Yet...I remember in the 50's wanting so bad for my dad to get a 8 ft "Whip antenna" bolted to the back bumper of his car a ('53 Meteor 4 door). We coulda been SO cool.
My dad not buying it. Front curb feelers was as far as he was going.
He knew! Oh, and BTW I don't think we had a radio, AM/FM or CB. He knew.
He's been gone for so long, he was a kind gentle man. Still miss him sometimes.
