They didn't say how far way she could see a plane or read an eye chart, only that she could recognize a persons face a mile away and that her vision was 5000/20.

My vision has been 20/25 since HS so have always been a little near sighted. But not too bad.
Since my retinopathy have lost some close stuff. Can't read really small print no more. The good thing is anything over 780 is a waste of resolution for me. My TV and AppleTV renders everything at 1020 and it all looks the same to me. Only noticeable when something's original resolution is S Video.
