We had a yellow lab that would catch all sorts of rodents and bring them to us for a treat. One day my sister was visiting with her golden retriever that had a tendency to eat things it could not keep down and as they were packing to leave our lab brings a ground squirrel and drops it for her treat. To my sisters horror her GR dog decides that would be an awesome treat before the three hour trip home and try as they might, the could not get him to drop it. Unfortunately for this thread, he did make it home before the runs got him.
