to get the QTR's on like all FG panels it took some work.
once I got them to fit I ground down the back sides of the QTR's were the panel bond adhesive will be along with the area on the cars body were they will be bonded to.
after they were bonded on the car I laid up two layers of FG cloth over the seamed area to blend in the QTR's to the cars body and to hide the seam.
then skimmed over the FG cloth area with a tight coat of body filler.
next up is to deal with the area on the rockers where the customer cut away the place that the FG QTR's need to sit on. it's missing so I will need to make new pieces. then make the front parts of the wheel houses to replace what's missing there too.
