I started last fall. should be done later this spring. I spoke with the original architect (an understudy of FLW), before he passed, and got his blessing before I switched to the CorTen. Will post more pictures once progress ramps up here....

The exterior is just about done. Ended up having to make each piece of roof trim, the gutter, downspout.... hand welded and fit to finish. The interesting thing about this house, is that nothing is built at a 90 degree angle. Everything (By quirky design) is either 105 degrees or 95 degrees. I destroyed my landscaping by driving the all-terrain lift around the property, so that is all going to have to be redone next. Doing a project on this scale, completely by myself...is something I will NEVER do again. All in all, I ended up reframing about 20% of the house. The back of the house is a 2nd story deck, which was replaced, in order to complete the back half...since it overlooks a ravine/creek and I had no way of getting the lift back there. Have I mentioned that I'll never do a project like this again? Ha.
