My wife was the HR director at a small local university. She had to know the law on so many things as to why something are done only one way, because some law says so. If she was confused by some conflict with laws, she had one guy that worked for the state that always knew the answer. She said he must have looked like the aliens with the enormous brains that always know the answer.
In the world of aerial photography we have to make orthophotos for our clients. There are some complex rules and steps involved. We had one guy we could call the answer any question we ever had. It was always amazing that obscure technical details were so easy for him to explain.
