If you look from above to the dipstick, the 'tab' I'm referring to, is the aluminum one sticking down from the intake manifold, where you bolt the dipstick tube to the manifold. I currently have mine bolted to the front of the aluminum tab. I'm thinking, it should be bolted to the back. There is a machined surface there, for instance.
